ARE THERE ANY IMPROVEMENTS TO MULTITASKING IN WINDOWS 11?

Yes, Windows 11 includes enhancements to multitasking, Snap layouts and Snap groups, Desktops, and multiple screens.

"Snap layouts" is a new menu that appears when you hover your mouse over any window's maximize button, and it has various layouts for snapping windows to the screen. Once you've picked a layout and position, snap assist will help you to continue snapping windows in the remaining area. Snap groups, which allow you to return to a group of spanning windows from the Taskbar by hovering over an app that belongs to a group and clicking the group preview, are also included in the Snap assistance experience.

"Virtual Desktops" becomes "Desktops" in Windows 11, and it's a feature that lets you establish different virtual environments to segregate unrelated tasks like work, education, and gaming. The functionality is the same as before, but it has been updated with a new interface that docks at the bottom of the screen and includes features like the ability to change the desktop wallpaper per desktop and more. All programs on the secondary screen will now reduce automatically when you detach your laptop from an external monitor. The programs will immediately restore to their previous location when you reconnect the monitor, which will improve your experience when working with multiple displays.

Finally, on the "Multitasking" settings page, "Aero shake," the ability to grab and shake a window to minimize all other windows, now gets its own setting.
